How to Prepare
Quinoa must be cooked before consumption. Two recommended methods:
Boiling (similar to cooking rice):
1.Rinse quinoa 1–2 times with clean water
2.Use a ratio of 1 cup quinoa : 4 cups water
3.Cook over medium heat for 15–20 minutes
4.The quinoa is ready when the seeds are soft and can be easily crushed with your fingers

Rice cooker method:
1.Rinse quinoa 1–2 times with clean water
2.Use a ratio of 1 cup quinoa : 2 cups water
3.Cook using the same setting as for white rice
Tip: You can mix quinoa with white rice to enhance your meal’s nutrition

Note: Quinoa cooks faster than white rice due to its smaller size.
Red and black quinoa contain more fiber than white, making them firmer.
To soften red and black quinoa, leave it in the rice cooker for 5–10 minutes after cooking.

Cooked quinoa will expand and become translucent. It should be soft enough to mash with your fingers.
